A Spontaneous Escape to Balos – Because the Time is Now

Some of the best adventures happen unplanned. Yesterday morning, on a whim, we decided to visit one of the most breathtaking beaches in Crete—Balos. No overthinking, no second-guessing. Just the simple philosophy of “η πιο ωραία ώρα είναι τώρα”—the best time is now.

The journey itself was part of the magic. The winding roads, the rugged landscapes, and finally, the stunning view from above before making our way down to the white sands and crystal-clear waters. And the best part? We had it all to ourselves. No crowds, no distractions—just us, the sea, and the raw beauty of nature.

Jane and Michel dove straight into the turquoise water, embracing the cool, salty freedom of the sea. Jasmin stayed on land with Missy and Canea, soaking in the tranquility. Meanwhile, our drone soared above, capturing breathtaking shots of this untouched paradise.

It was one of those rare, perfect moments—a reminder that sometimes, the best plan is no plan at all.
