Today was an exciting day! Not only did we finally see the sun for the first time since arriving, but we also met with our architects and construction manager.
In the coming days, the earthworks will begin, and if all goes according to plan, the actual construction should start in about 15 days. Stay tuned for updates on our progress!
Today, our construction team took measurements and placed metal rods to mark where the house will stand on the plot. The lead builder for our home will be Giorgos, a longtime family friend—we’re thrilled that he’s available to take on this project!
Thanks to the natural slope of our plot, the earthworks will allow us to enjoy a sea view even from the bottom apartment. A fun detail: the earthworks team is a father-and-son duo—another Giorgos and his son, Vangelis.
